Justice For Children CIC was founded from a simple belief: every child deserves to grow up feeling safe, loved, heard, and supported.
The organisation was born from personal experience and a first-hand understanding of the challenges that many children and families face when relationships break down. Through those experiences, we saw how family conflict, lengthy legal proceedings, and safeguarding concerns can have a profound and lasting impact on a child's emotional wellbeing, development, and future.
As we learned more, it became clear that these issues were not isolated to one family or one community. Across the United Kingdom—and indeed across the world—countless children are affected by family separation, conflict, exploitation, abuse, and systems that do not always meet their needs as effectively as they should.
Rather than allowing those experiences to become a source of bitterness, we chose to turn them into a positive force for change.
Justice For Children CIC was established to raise awareness, encourage informed discussion, and campaign for improvements that place children's welfare at the centre of every decision. We believe meaningful change happens through education, collaboration, accountability, and constructive dialogue.
One of our core principles is that, where it is safe and in the child's best interests, children benefit from maintaining meaningful relationships with both parents and their wider family. We support the principle that shared parenting should be considered wherever appropriate, recognising that every family is different and every child deserves an individual assessment based on their own circumstances.
Over time, our vision has expanded beyond family justice alone.
Today, Justice For Children CIC is committed to promoting stronger protections for children in every area of society. This includes raising awareness of issues such as child exploitation, grooming, abuse, neglect, online safety, mental health, safeguarding, and the long-term effects that conflict and trauma can have on young lives.
We believe that protecting children is a responsibility shared by families, communities, professionals, organisations, and society as a whole.
Our goal is not simply to highlight problems but to become part of the solution.
By working with families, communities, charities, professionals, policymakers, and supporters across the United Kingdom, we hope to contribute towards a future where every child is protected, every child's voice is heard, and every decision affecting a child is guided by evidence, compassion, fairness, and their best interests.
Because every child only gets one childhood.
Children First Always.
